Yesterday we saw what was probably the worst performance of Mamma Mia that I have ever witnessed. I've seen the show seven times, not counting the many times I watched our production of it. I have seen it professionally done, as in New York and London. I have seen it in Sacramento, both as a local production and as a touring show.

So last night we tried a new place, Sugar Mediterranean BistroMy chicken kabob was pretty dry, but the rich pilaf and veggies were great. Everyone else seemed to be okay, but they all had sauces. So we just have someone call and cancel twenty tickets for Saturday night. Apparently she was the wife of the actor who is playing Sky and he dumped her for someone he met in the cast. Obviously, she now doesn't want to come and watch her ex sing and dance his way across the stage. There are some pretty lucky people on our waiting list.
